Adapalene, also known as Differin is a lotion or gel used for the treatment of acne. The only way of obtaining adapalene is bu prescription.

Differin medication works by stopping spots from growing underneath the your skins surface.
Adapalene is applied once daily.

Apply only a tiny amount as a small application covers alot.It does not cure your acne but it helps control it. Unfortunately there is no cure for acne.

Like most acne medications , your skin gets worse before the visible improvements appear. Be patient, this takes usually between 4 and 6 weeks.

You should have the desired results no later than 4 months. If not you may need to be put on another treatment. Consult with your doctor if this is the case.

Use the medication exactly the way your doctor tells you to and do not stop taking unless directed to.

Adapalene dangers

Please be aware of the following when on a course of adapalene .
Adapalene will cause mild to severe dryness of your skin, so you should be careful not to apply it to sunburned, irritated, or broken skin. It won’t work until your skin gets back to its normal condition.

Be very careful when applying near your eyes. Clean out instantly with warm water if you get it in your eyes.

The Side effects of using adapalene may be :
Dryness, scaly skin, redness, burning. Talk to your gp if the symptoms don’t clear fast.

Dont worry if you miss a dose and you can just continue as normal the following day.
